A Data Source Connector can be used to import rows from an Excel/CSV file that resides in your Egnyte Connect account.
For example, if you have client data you want to use within apps created on our platform, you can link a data source, prepopulate it, and set it to update on a timed refresh for use in Forms.
Adding the Connector

Navigate to:
- Data Hub > Data Sources.
- Hover over your desired data source and click the Settings icon.
- In Settings, hit the Add Connector button.
- Select the Egnyte option.
This will refresh the page with the newly added connector ready for configuration.
Nothing has been saved at this stage, so save your connector after making any changes to enable or update it.
Alternatively, if you’re viewing the rows of a data source, you can navigate to the Settings page using the option under the page’s title.
Configuring the Connector
Once added, enter the File’s location (FolderName/Folder2/FileName.xlsx or .csv) and hit SAVE on the top right.

The column and row data will be populated at the specified refresh frequency or when the RUN NOW option is selected.
After successfully syncing the data from Egnyte into Appenate, you can view the pulled data by clicking on the data source’s ROWS option.
Syncing times may vary depending on the amount of data being imported.
