Form Connector – GeoOp

Form Connector – GeoOp

GeoOp is a 3rd-party, easy-to-use job-tracking software system that makes running your field sales or service business simpler and more efficient.

This doc will not be a detailed account of how to utilise the GeoOp service; rather, it will show you what information you need to source from your GeoOp account to get this integration working properly.

Adding the Connector

Follow these steps to add the connector to your specific form:

  1. Navigate to App Workshop > Forms.
  2. Hover over your desired form and click the Connect icon.
  3. Click the Add Connector button (top-right).
  4. Select GeoOp from the options.

Note: The page will refresh with the connector added. Changes are not live until you click Save.

Quick Access Tip

If you are already inside the Form Builder or Settings view, you don’t need to go back to the main menu. Simply click the Connectors tab located directly under the form title at the top of the screen.

Configuring the Connector

After adding the form connector, the following configuration options are available.

Save Data as

You can choose the format in which you want your Form entry data sent.

JSONSend form data in a .json attachment

WordSend form data as a .docx attachment.

XMLSend form data as an .xml attachment.

File Name

Optionally, enter a custom file name.

You can also create a dynamic attachment name using fields from your Form – hit the hammer icon to build it.

The file extension (.pdf, .xlsx, .docx, etc.) will automatically be added to your name. The generated file name, including the extension, may not exceed 120 characters.

Disable Random Code

Disable the default system behaviour of appending a 6-character random code to the generated file name.
e.g., instead of FileName-abc123.pdf, the file would be generated as FileName.pdf.

Job ID

You must specify the GeoOp Identifier for the associated Job.

You should have a Job field in your Form that lets the user choose a Job; use {{ }} syntax to refer to it.

Otherwise, specify a static value for cases where all entries must create Notes against the same Job.

Hit the hammer icon if you need help remembering the target Job field’s name.

User ID

You must specify the GeoOp Identifier for the associated User.

You might have a User field in your Form that lets the user choose the GeoOp user – use {{ }} syntax to refer to it.

Otherwise, specify a static value – in this case, all Job Notes created by this Connector will show as being made by the given User.

Hit the hammer icon if you need help remembering the name of the target User field.

Note Text

Enter custom text, which will show as the Job Note in GeoOp.

Create dynamic text using fields from your Form – hit the hammer icon to build it.

Anonymize Personal Data

If enabled, data from fields marked as Personal Data will be converted to a non-human-readable format to aid privacy.

GeoOp Configuration
