Standard vs Premium vs Grandfather User Licences

Standard vs Premium vs Grandfather User Licences

Towards the end of 2016, we announced the only major change made to our pricing model in over 7 years of operation.

It was a big change, splitting our single-user type into Standard and Premium, while raising prices across most scenarios. It was a necessary move that addressed our growing support load, our roadmap ambitions, and, ultimately, Appenate’s sustainability as a business.

Along with the pricing model changes, all existing customers were placed in a “grandfathered” state, which did not permit access to additional features introduced from January 2017 onwards.

We believe the increasing value delivered through our roadmap will be a justifiable offset for the new plans’ prices.

Of course, we’d love it if everyone decided to upgrade

The following tables compare feature differences across Standard, Premium, and Grandfathered pricing plans.
