Which TLS versions are supported?

App

The app supports TLS 1.2 or higher on all three platforms (Android, iOS, and Windows).

This means the app can only communicate with web services supporting TLS 1.2 or higher.

If you connect to any external web service directly from within the app, such as when using Platform Sync (formerly Hosted GET) data sources, please ensure that the web service(s) support TLS 1.2.

Please note that some older operating system versions do not support TLS 1.2. The minimum OS versions that support TLS 1.2 per platform are as follows:

  • Android 7.1.1 or higher.
  • iOS 5.0 or higher.
  • Windows 7 SP1 or higher.

Platform

Currently, the platform supports all TLS connection types; however, in the near future, the minimum supported version will be changed to TLS 1.2.

If you have any external web services connected to the platform, kindly ensure they support TLS1.2 to avoid issues.
